The type Locality is the Keno Hill, Mayo mining district, Yukon, Canada, which is a group of
silver-lead-zinc
mines.
At the Kvartsitovje Gorki gold deposit, Aksu, Stepnogorsk, Akmola Region,
Kazakhstan, argentotennantite is often in zoned grains,
occurring between tennantite cores and argentotetrahedrite-(Fe) rims
(AM 73.439 ).
