Localities

At the type locality, the Streuberg Quarry, Bergen, Vogtlandkreis, Saxony, Germany, bergenite was found as a secondary mineral on a dump, associated with much uranocircite, some torbernite, renardite, autunite, dewindtite, barium-bearing uranophane and unidentified secondary uranium minerals. (AM 45.909, HOM, Dana).
