Pegmatites

Brunovskyite is a new mineral, approved in 2025 and to date (January 2026) reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, Takhtarvumchorr Mt, Khibiny Massif, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, brunovskyite occurs as white powder-like aggregate rims around parakeldyshite, which it replaces. It was found in albitised pegmatites in a foyaite, associated with albite, eudialyte and parakeldyshite (Mindat).
