Environments
Dixenite occurs in a metamorphosed iron-manganese orebody in
serpentine (Webmin) at the type locality, Långban,
Filipstad, Värmland, Sweden, which is the only recorded locality to date (October 2021)
(Mindat).
It is associated with hematite, adelite,
native lead, domeykite and
magnussonite
(HOM).
