Localities

At the type locality, the Eudidymite - Epididymite locality, Vesle Arøya, Langesundsfjorden, Larvik, Vestfold, Norway, eirikite is a late-stage hydrothermal mineral in a dike of nepheline syenite pegmatite (HOM).
It occurs as finely or coarsely fibrous, monomineralic aggregates up to several centimetres across, associated with microcline, zircon, aegirine, polylithionite, albite, eudialyte, catapleiite and pyrochlore (HOM, Mindat).
