Englishite occurs in variscite nodules at the type locality Clay Canyon, Utah, USA, associated with montgomeryite, wardite, millisite and crandallite. It is also found in the Tip Top pegmatite, South Dakota, USA, associated with crandallite and other phosphates (Dana).
