Pegmatites

Ferrorosemaryite was approved in 2003 and to date (October 2023) it has been reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, the Rubindi pegmatite, Bwira, Ngororero District, Western Province, Rwanda, ferrorosemaryite occurs as large idiomorphic grains reaching 3 mm in size, embedded in scorzalite. Associated phosphate minerals are scorzalite, trolleite, montebrasite, bertossaite, and brazilianite, with accessory augelite, triplite and lacroixite (EJM 17.5.749-759).
