Localities
At the type locality, the San Pascual Mine, Mexico, hidalgoite occurs in
an oxidised ore vein, associated with beudantite,
tourmaline, limonite,
mansfieldite and
carbonatecyanotrichite
(AM 38.1218).
At the Guatomo Mine, Tham Thalu, Bannang Sata District, Yala Province, Thailand, pale green microcrystalline
pseudomorphs of hidalgoite after
mimetite crystals have been found
