Localities

At the type locality, Apatitovyi Tsirk, Rasvumchorr Mine, Rasvumchorr Mt, Khibiny Massif, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, hydrodelhayelite occurs as a secondary alteration product of delhayelite from ijolite-urtite pegmatites in a differentiated alkalic massif. Associated minerals include delhayelite, lamprophyllite, eudialyte, hisingerite, aegirine and orthoclase (HOM).
