Localities

At the type locality, the Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia, jamesite occurs as a secondary mineral in oxidised lead ore in a dolostone-hosted hydrothermal polymetallic ore deposit. Associated minerals include duftite, tsumcorite and goethite (HOM).
