Localities

At the type locality, the Luku mine, Yanbian County, Panzhihua, Sichuan, China, jinshajiangite occurs in an arfvedsonite dike in alkalic syenite near the Jinshajiang River (Yangtze River) as tabular crystals up to 2 cm long. Associated minerals include albite, arfvedsonite, aegirine, pyrochlore, monazite and chevkinite (AM 69.567, HOM)
