Localities

At the type locality, the Kockbulak mine (Kochbulak Au-Ag-Te deposit), Ohangaron District, Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan, mohite occurs as small grains, usually elongated, up to 10 x 50-80 microns in size, in goldfieldite - famatinite - tetrahedrite ores. Associated minerals include kuramite, mawsonite and emplectite, especially at the contact of tetrahedrite with famatinite (AM 68.1.280-283).
