Localities

At the Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Quebec, Canada, revdite occurs in sodalite xenoliths in syenite in the intrusive alkalic gabbro - syenite complex. Associated minerals include ussingite, villiaumite, kogarkoite, lovozerite and eudialyte (HOM).

At the type locality, Karnasurt Mountain, Lovozersky District, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, revdite occurs as irregular rounded deposits up to 2 cm in diameter in ussingite veinlets cutting nepheline syenites in deep workings (AM 67.1074-1082).
