Tsugaruite is a very rare arsenic-bearing mineral.

Localities

At the type locality, the Yunosawa mine, Ikarigaseki, Minamitsugaru District, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, tsugaruite was found as tabular crysstals to 2 mm in a thin hydrothermal baryte veinlet. Associated minerals include jordanite, wurtzite, marcasite and galena. The jordanite formed earlier than the tsugaruite (MM 62.793-799, AM 84.992).
