Hydrothermal environments

Veselovskýite was approved in 2006, but to date (July 2023) it has been reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, the Geister vein, Rovnost Mine, Jáchymov, Karlovy Vary District, Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic, veselovskýite has been found as individual, lath-like to thin tabular crystals, up to 1 mm long, commonly forming complicated intergrowths on fissures of partly weathered ore vein. Associated Minerals include strashimirite (Mindat). Hloušekite also occurs at this locality, associated with veselovskýite, pradetite, lavendulan, arsenolite, babánekite and gypsum (HOM).
