At the type locality, Marchenko Peak, Murmanskaya Oblast, Russia, ancylite-(La) is a rare mineral in
nepheline syenite associated with
nenadkevichite, loparite-(Ce),
fluorapatite, eudialyte,
donnayite-(Y), catapleiite,
calcite, belovite-(Ce),
astrophyllite, apophyllite,
aegirine, kukharenkoite-(Y)
and biotite
(Mindat, HOM).
