Arsenovanmeersscheite was approved in 2006 but to date (November 2025) it has been reported only from the type locality.

Localities

At the type locality, the Krunkelbach Valley Uranium deposit, Menzenschwand, St Blasien, Waldshut, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, arsenovanmeersscheite occurs as a secondary mineral associated with vanmeersschelte, schoepite, pyrite and quartz. Crusts, on quartz, are composed of lath-like crystals of arsenovanmeersscheite up to 0.1 mm in size (Mindat).
