Pegmatites

Belovite-(La) occurs in natrolite veinlets in pegmatites in a differentiated alkalic massif, asssociated with gaidonnayite, gerasimovskite, lamprophyllite, murmanite, aegirine, pectolite, microcline and natrolite (HOM).

Localities

Belovite-(La) has two co-type localities, Eveslogchorr Mountain and the Kirovskii apatite mine, Kukisvumchorr Mountaint, both in the Khibiny Massif, Murmansk Oblast, Russia. In these localities it occurs in pegmatites in association with natrolite, pectolite, sphalerite, galena, molybdenite, lamprophyllite, gaidonnayite, gerasimovskite and epistolite; it has also been noted to occur in a natrolite vein in associaton with analcime, murmanite and safflorite (AM 82.620-624).
