On Mts. Rasvumchorr and Yukspor, Khibiny massif, Kola Peninsula, Russia, fenaksite occurs in pegmatites associated with an ijolite-urtite intrusion in a differentiated alkalic massif. Associated minerals include albite, nepheline, aegirine-augite, delhayelite and eudialyte (HOM).
