Localities
There are two co-type localities, an unnamed locality and the Hackman Valley, both at Yukspor Mt, Khibiny Massif,
Murmansk Oblast, Russia. Here ferricerite-(LaCa) occurs as a late-stage, low-temperature
secondary phase in a symmetrically zoned,
aegirine-natrolite-microcline
vein in gneissose
foyaite.
Associated minerals include aegirine,
anatase, ancylite-(Ce),
barylite, catapleiite,
cerite-(Ce), chabazite-Ca,
edingtonite, fluorapatite,
galena, ilmenite,
microcline, natrolite,
sphalerite, strontianite
and vanadinite
(HOM).
