Localities

At the type locality, Maremola Creek, Isallo, Magliolo, Savona Province, Liguria, Italy, fluorcarmoite-(BaNa) was found in a pebble of the riverbed, associated with quartz and almandine and with microscopic inclusions of fluorapatite and possible graftonite. It occurs as yellow–orange and translucent crystals in an anhedral centimetric nodule embedded in quartz (EJM 31.4.823–836).
