Heteromorphite is a rare antimony mineral that occurs in hydrothermal vein deposits (Webmin, HOM), associated with sphalerite, plagionite and semseyite (HOM).

The type locality is the Caspari Mine, Uentrop, Arnsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
