Localities

At the Eddy Creek quarry, Weld river, southern Tasmania, Australia, hillebrandite occurs in a skarn deposit (AJM 18.1.65).

At Carlingford, Ireland, hillebrandite is associated with calcite, vesuvianite and grossular (HOM).

At the type locality, the Terneras Mine, Velardeña, Velardeña District, Cuencamé Municipality, Durango, Mexico, hillebrandite is a high temperature metamorphic mineral in a contact zone between limestone and diorite, associated with wollastonite, garnet, spurrite and gehlenite (Mindat, HOM, Dana).

In Russia hillebrandite occurs in altered gabbroic rocks (Dana).

At the Crestmore quarry, Riverside county, California, USA, hillebrandite occurs with foshagite (Dana, HOM).
