Localities

At the type locality, Karnasurt Mountain, Lovozersky District, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, ikranite is associated with aegirine, microcline, lorenzenite, nepheline, lamprophyllite, murmanite and arfvedsonite in the aegirine zone of an agpaitic pegmatite (AM 89.1827-1828, CM 42.926).
