Localities

At the type locality, the Lengenbach Quarry, Fäld, Binn, Goms, Valais, Switzerland, imhofite occurs as thin translucent copper-red plates (size approximately 0.06 x 0.03 x 0.001 mm³) and aggregates. Associated minerals include realgar and lead sulfantimonides (HOM, Mindat).
