At the type locality, the Kitka River Valley, Kuusamo, North Ostrobothnia, Finland, Kullerudite occurs in sills
of albite dolerite in a
schist formation, associated with low-grade uranium mineralisation. It
occurs almost exclusively
as an alteration product of wilkmanite
(AM 50.520).
