Latiumite occurs in blocks of metamorphosed limestone ejected by volcanism. (Webmin).

Localities

At the type locality, I Cappuccini, Albano Laziale, Metropolitan City of Rome Capital, Lazio, Italy, latiumite occurs as white to glassy material, massive and in elongated tabular crystals in two ejected blocks of metamorphosed limestone, associated with hedenbergite, grossular - andradite, melilite, leucite, haüyne, and in one specimen also with kaliophilite (AM 39.402-408, HOM).
