Localities

At the type locality, the Hagendorf South Pegmatite, Waidhaus, Neustadt an der Waldnaab, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria, Germany, lehnerite is a secondary mineral in the oxidised zone of the complex granite pegmatite, associated with decomposed zwieselite and strongly corroded rockbridgeite (HOM, Dana, AM 75.1433). In the same paragenesis fluellite, carlhintzeite, morinite and pachnolite occur (AM 75.1433).
