Hydrothermal environments

To date (February 2022) lévyclaudite has been found only at the type locality.

Localities

The type locality is the Agios Philippos mine, Kirki Mines, Evros, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Here lévyclaudite occurs in veinlets associated with pyrite, sphalerite, kirkiite, galena, tennantite and kësterite in quartz in a drill hole sample from the lead-zinc deposit (AM 76.2022, HOM).
