Localities

At the type locality, Lake Como, San Juan County, Colorado, USA, sidwillite is found as bright yellow, resinous, tabular crystals up to 0.2 mm in length. It occurs as an oxidation product of jordisite in a quartz vein and is associated with pyrite (AM 71.1546).
