Teallite is a hydrothermal mineral found in tin veins, associated with
cassiterite,
stannite, franckeite,
cylindrite, galena,
sphalerite, wurtzite and
pyrite
(HOM).
At the type locality, the Santa Rosa vein, El Salvador Mines, Monserrat-Antequera mining district, Pazña, Poopó
Province, Oruro, Bolivia,
teallite is associated with wurtzite and
greenockite
(Mindat).
