Teallite is a hydrothermal mineral found in tin veins, associated with cassiterite, stannite, franckeite, cylindrite, galena, sphalerite, wurtzite and pyrite (HOM).

Localities

At the type locality, the Santa Rosa vein, El Salvador Mines, Monserrat-Antequera mining district, Pazña, Poopó Province, Oruro, Bolivia, teallite is associated with wurtzite and greenockite (Mindat).
