Tennantite-(In) is a new mineral, approved in 2023 and to date (January 2026) reported only from Alexandroupoli.
Localities
At the type locality, the Pefka deposit, Alexandroupoli, Evros, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Greece, tennantite-(In)
was identified as anhedral grains, up to 0.1 mm in size, in the epithermal ore deposit. Associated minerals include
bournonite, galena,
quartz, roquesite,
seligmannite, tennantite-(Fe) and
watanabeite
(Mindat).
