Localities

At the type locality, the Krunkelbach Valley Uranium deposit, Menzenschwand, St Blasien, Waldshut, Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, uranosilite occurs in intimate intergrowths with studtite and uranophane. Associated minerals include uranophane, studtite, quartz and hematite (Mindat).
