At the type locality, the Tsumeb Mine, Oshikoto Region, Namibia, zincroselite was found as a rare
secondary
arsenic-bearing mineral in a small cavity in an oxidised zone of a
dolostone-hosted hydrothermal polymetallic ore deposit
(WebMin, Dana, HOM). Associated
minerals included tsumcorite, stranskiite,
leiteite, quartz and
tennantite (HOM, MinRec 38.5).
