Localities

At the Southern Dzhelambet deposit, Shortandy, Akmola, Kazakhstan, bilibinskite occurs in the zone of weathering of the tellurium deposit, associated with sylvanite and krennerite (HOM).

At the type locality, the Aginskoe Au deposit, Central Kamchatka mining district, Bystrinsky District, Kamchatka Krai, Russia, bilibinskite occurs in the zone of weathering of the tellurium deposit. Associated minerals include gold, bogdanovite, bezsmertnovite, belyankinite, sylvanite and krennerite (HOM, Mindat).
