Pegmatites

At its type locality, the Buranga pegmatite, Gatumba, Ngororero District, Western Province, Rwanda, burangaite occurs in a granite pegmatite associated with wardite, trolleite, scorzalite, quartz, bjarebyite, bertossaite, samuelsonite, gatumbaite, brazilianite and apatite (Mindat, Webmin, HOM, AM 63.793).

At Halsjoberg, Sweden, burangaite is associated with berlinite, lazulite, scorzalite, augelite, gatumbaite, trolleite and rutile (HOM).
