Localities
At the type locality, the Bergmannstrost mine, Baberast mining district, Haslach im Kinzigtal, Haslach im Kinzigtal, Ortenaukreis,
Freiburg Region, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, cubargyrite is part of a
quartz-arsenopyrite hydrothermal assemblage,
where it occurs as grayish black, anhedral grains, to 0.5 mm across, associated with
quartz and arsenopyrite
(AM 84.1196, HOM).
