Localities

At the type locality, the Ragra Mine, Huayllay District, Pasco Province, Pasco, Peru, dwornikite was found as white aggregates of very fine-grained particles in a vanadium sulphide deposit, probably formed by oxidation of associated bravoite. No single crystals were found. Associated minerals include patronite, bravoite, sulphur, retgersite, szomolnokite and bitumen (MM 46.351-355, HOM, Mindat)
