Pegmatites

Ferrotitanowodginite occurs in complex rare-element pegmatites in locally tourmalinised quartz-mica schist of medium metamorphic grade (HOM).

Localities

At the type locality, La Viquita pegmatite, Sierra de la Estanzuela, Chacabuco Department, San Luis Province, Argentina, ferrotitanowodginite occurs in a replacement unit associated with wodginite, ferrowodginite, titanowodginite and tapiolite-(Fe) in yellow muscovite and quartz (AM 84.773-777).

At the San Elías mine, Sierra de la Estanzuela, Chacabuco Department, San Luis Province, Argentina, ferrotitanowodginite occurs aggregated with ferrowodginite and associated with microlite, tapiolite-(Fe), cleavelandite and quartz (AM 84.773-777).
