Localities

At the type locality, the Malmkärra mine, Norberg, Västmanland County, Sweden, fluorbritholite-(Nd) occurs as small anhedral grains of less than 250 μm in size, on a boulder of skarn in the mine dumps. Associated minerals include talc, scheelite, magnetite, lizardite, gadolinite-(Nd), fluorite, dolomite, calcite and baryte (AM 108.1993, Mindat).
