At the type locality, Hourt quarry, Grand-Halleux, Vielsalm, Luxembourg, Wallonia, Belgium, graulichite-(Ce)
occurs as 80 to 150 μ spherical aggregates of rhombohedral crystals, 50 to 80 μ in length, in the most altered parts of
a quartzite, in close association with
arsenopyrite, scorodite,
mimetite, pharmacosiderite
and goethite
(EJM 15.733-739).
