Localities

Associated minerals include honessite, reevesite, magnesite, gaspéite, pecoraite, goethite and gypsum (HOM).

At Hagdale Quarry, Unst, Shetland Islands, Scotland, UK, hydrohonessite occurs in chromitite associated with honessite, reevesite and theophrastite (HOM).

At the Cameron Mining District, Coconino County, Arizona, USA, hydrohonessite is associated with wupatkiite, nickelboussingaultite and pickeringite (HOM).
