Karlditmarite is a new mineral, approved in 2021 and to date (June 2026) reported only from the type locality.
Localities
At the type locality, the Arsenatnaya fumarole, Second scoria cone, Northern Breakthrough, Great Fissure eruption,
Tolbachik Volcanic field, Milkovsky District, Kamchatka Krai, Russia, karlditmarite occurs as green prismatic
crystals that reach up 50 μm but usually measure from 1 to 10 μm in size. The fumerole temperature was about 350°C.

antipovite, euchlorine,
itelmenite, langbeinite,
milkovoite, paulgrothite
and tenorite
