Fumeroles

Euchlorine occurs as a sublimate around volcanic fumaroles (Webmin).

Localities At the Izalco Volcano, Sonsonate Department, El Salvador, euchlorine is associated with stoiberite, fingerite, ziesite, thénardite and mcbirneyite (HOM).

At the type locality, Mt Vesuvius, Somma-Vesuvius Complex, Naples, Campania, Italy, euchlorine is associated with dolerophanite, eriochalcite, chalcocyanite and melanothallite (HOM).

At the Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka Krai, Russia, euchlorine is associated with eriochalcite, melanothallite, fedotovite, vergasovaite, chalcocyanite, dolerophanite, tenorite, copper-bearing anglesite and gold (HOM).
