Pegmatites

Keiviite-(Yb) occurs in amazonite pegmatites, associated with fluorite, bastnäsite, hingganite and wulfenite (HOM).

Localities

At the type locality, Ploskaya Mountain, Western Keivy Massif, Keivy Mountains, Lovozersky District, Murmansk Oblast, Russia, keiviite-(Yb) occurs in an amazonite-bearing granite pegmatite.
Two generations of keiviite-(Yb) are present, associated with fluorite, bastnäsite and hingganite (Dana).
