Localities
At the type locality, the Bond zone, Oka complex, Deux-Montagnes RCM, Laurentides, Quebec, Canada, latrappite occurs in a
pyrochlore-rich carbonatite, in calcite
associated with apatite, diopside,
biotite, pyrochlore,
magnetite, niocalite,
dolomite, nepheline and
monticellite
(Dana, HOM).
At the Badloch quarry, Germany, latrappite is associated with columbite
(HOM).
