Localities

At the type locality, the Bond zone, Oka complex, Deux-Montagnes RCM, Laurentides, Quebec, Canada, latrappite occurs in a pyrochlore-rich carbonatite, in calcite associated with apatite, diopside, biotite, pyrochlore, magnetite, niocalite, dolomite, nepheline and monticellite (Dana, HOM).

At the Badloch quarry, Germany, latrappite is associated with columbite (HOM).
