Localities

At the type locality, the Komsomol'skii Mine, Talnakh Cu-Ni Deposit, Norilsk-Talnakh Mining Region, Taimyr Peninsula, Taymyrskiy Autonomous Okrug, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, palladoarsenide occurs as minute grains in chalcopyrite in veins along the footwall of the copper-nickel sulphide deposit. The grains are irregular, up to 0.4 mm, long and veinlet-like, vermicular (worm-like), having curving boundaries. Associated minerals include chalcopyrite, sperrylite, gold and kotulskite (HOM, Mindat).
