Localities

At the type locality, the Sterling mine, Sterling Hill, Ogdensburg, Franklin Mining District, Sussex County, New Jersey, USA, parabrandtite forms aggregates, 0.5 to 1.5 mm across, of colurless crystals in parallel growth, associated with sarkinite in a cavity in a vein in primary ore consisting of franklinite, pink calcite and red willemite (AM 73.1496).
