Hydrothermal environments

Paracoquimbite is a rare mineral formed in the oxidised zone of pyritic hydrothermal orebodies, especially in arid regions. Associated minerals include coquimbite, römerite, szomolnokite, quenstedtite, ferricopiapite, rozenite and voltaite (HOM).
