Localities
At the Peelwood mine, Peelwood, Georgiana county, New South Wales, Australia, schuilingite-(Nd)
has been found in the oxidised zone assemblage, associated with azurite,
malachite, cerussite,
dundasite, plumbogummite
and minor amounts of pickeringite
(AJM 13.2.89-91).
At the type locality, the Kasompi Mine, Mutshatsha, Lualaba, DR Congo, schuilingite-(Nd) is a rare
secondary mineral in the oxidised zone of the hydrothermal
base metal deposit. Associated minerals include gysinite-(Nd),
malachite, cerussite,
wulfenite, kasolite,
schoepite, uranophane,
curite, francoisite-(Nd),
kamotoite-(Y),
astrocyanite-(Ce),
masuyite and uraninite
(HOM).
