Localities

At the Peelwood mine, Peelwood, Georgiana county, New South Wales, Australia, schuilingite-(Nd) has been found in the oxidised zone assemblage, associated with azurite, malachite, cerussite, dundasite, plumbogummite and minor amounts of pickeringite (AJM 13.2.89-91).

At the type locality, the Kasompi Mine, Mutshatsha, Lualaba, DR Congo, schuilingite-(Nd) is a rare secondary mineral in the oxidised zone of the hydrothermal base metal deposit. Associated minerals include gysinite-(Nd), malachite, cerussite, wulfenite, kasolite, schoepite, uranophane, curite, francoisite-(Nd), kamotoite-(Y), astrocyanite-(Ce), masuyite and uraninite (HOM).
